From the Stonetree Vineyard, this supersaturated wine is so black that it looks impenetrable. The dark cassis fruit is drenched in astringent, tongue-drying flavors of smoke, asphalt and tar. Though true to its variety, it's a tough, chewy, somewhat chalky mouthful.
