Classic Napa Cabernet, with perfectly ripened blackberry, cherry and cassis fruit, nicely elaborated by sweet, smoky oak, and framed in ripe, smooth tannins. Really a lovely wine, with the balanced equilibrium to ride out the next decade.

Dry, dramatic and rich, a Cabernet whose authoritative tannins mark it as classic Napa Valley. Beyond that are ripe blackberry, black currant and cassis flavors that are liberally oaked. Needs some time to come around, although you could drink it now with a good decant. But bett…
