Pesquié's red Quintessence is a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache, aged in oak barrels. The result features plenty of spices, like clove, nutmeg and cinnamon, but also lush cassis and raspberry fruit and a velvety texture. Drink now–2016.
