Rated vintages

  • 201192 pts

Tightly tannic and very firm at this stage, but you can feel the ripe fruit underneath, giving great structure and power. Black currants layered with acidity, while the center, a dry core.

  • 201086 pts

This is ripe and soft, though there are tannins at the back of the palate. The wine shows pepper, black currant and bitter cherry notes. Not for long-term aging.

Dry in character, not a heavyweight. The wine has some fresh fruit through the dry tannins and spice. There's good balance, even if the wine is on the light side.
