  There's a nice purity of fruit on the nose of this appellation blend, with strawberry, cranberry and pomegranate notes enhanced by turned earth and slate. The palate is crisp and driven by cranberry, with a touch of orange-rind tang and a pencil-shaving element on the finish.

  A nice Pinot Noir, with ripe, flashy red berry, cola and spice flavors. It's a bit rustic around the edges, but it does show a certain amount of elegance.
