  One of a series of wines named after the ancient Roman city of Callabriga, this is solid, structured and wood-aged. Big black fruits stride across the palate giving both richness and a dense texture. It's a wine to age until mid-2015, although it is delicious enough to drink now.

  The wine has all the classic structure and mineral tension of Dão. It gives both richness and dark, dry tannins that need several years to soften. At the same time, juicy black currant fruits give a fresh side to this complex, concentrated wine. Drink from 2016.
