  Firm and bright, this is a full-bodied, generously layered red rich in red currant, tobacco, clove and black pepper. Lengthy and complexly woven, it has a gravelly edge of minerality to its texture and taste.

  Ripe and forward, this has lots of jammy blackberry and cherry fruit flavors, all coated with sweet, smoky oak. It's a bit overripe, with a note of plumped raisin, so drink up.
