Named after one of the old names for the Mondego River (which flows past the estate), this blend of the red grapes of the Dão, is aromatic, with a touch of barnyard as well as red fruits. Light wood aging has smoothed some of the fruit tannins and added spice. Drink now.

This is a soft blend of five local varieties, offering a generous, concentrated wine. Black fruit tones are balanced by a strong mineral character that brings out a tight texture. From the end of 2016, it will be a fine, ripe and accessible wine.
