There is an unfortunately strong scent of burnt match to this wine, so much so that it can be tasted as well. Oversulfured though it may be, it's a delicious bottle, with ripe, round fruit, made in a big, balanced style and enhanced with generous new oak. Air it out!

Lovely, fruity wine, with ripe apples and peaches dominating. But there's also plenty of toasty new oak and roasted hazelnuts. Soft and approachable, with a bright, hot finish.
