Out of the gate it smells sharp, sour and murky. But time allows most of that young RDD funk to settle, and what arises is oak, juicy blackberry, herbs and brown sugar. It improves as it picks up speed, but it always has some funk and angularity to it. Big at 14% but not flabby.
