Yes, it is very dark colored, but this rich wine shows elegance as well as its dense tannins. Flavors of blackberries come through the coffee note and dry core to give a wine that will develop relatively quickly over the next 2–3 years.

By contrast with some of the other powerful reds from Triguedina, this is a relatively soft, velvet-textured wine. But don't be deceived: beneath the smooth surface, there is a dark and mineral wine, all solid fruits and rich black berries.
